The Aleutian Islands & South Pacific
The ship that landed in the Aleutian Islands in 217 A.D. found the Eskimos to be friendly and fun-loving. They found a way to modify SNAG™ to play it in the snow. Snow SNAG™ continued for over five centuries without much player improvement until a young forward-thinking Aleutian named Mituk Udawgk developed an incredible training tool. He took a walrus tusk, hollowed it out and inserted a small pebble. He then sealed the tusk. This tool would be used to develop the proper arm-to-club relationship creating an "L." He called this tool a "snakazook." The Aleutians improved dramatically. They became known as the best players in the region from 100 dog lengths and in.

The Aleutians used this game to make friends with other tribes across the tundra. They developed a cross-country version of SNAG™ and held a competition called the SNAGditerod. Each tribe would send their fastest player who would compete by hitting the ball and sticking it to a series of igloos. Each player would ride in his/her dogsled between shots. This event is still present in the arctic region today but is grossly underpublicized.

The other ship that landed in the South Pacific did not fare as well. Cannibals captured the Frankciscans. For the first week they tried to pass the time playing SNAG™ while waiting for their eventual fate, to be boiled in a huge caldron, then eaten. Each day the cannibals would make the Frankciscans draw straws to see who would become the next meal. The Frankciscans termed the loser "Pot Luck Dinner." The cannibals took an immediate liking to the game and decided to make a sporting event acceptable to their culture and appetite.
